What was a dream for me 10 years ago is now happening: top leaders are embracing the notion of waste as a valuable resource rather than a costly problem. In yesterday’s discussion between the Director General of UNIDO and the President and Director General of BIR, the global recyclers’ association, it became clear that this is a priority for both. I am excited to be part of this emerging dialogue!
